In 2008, the Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Education of Exceptional Students and Student Services (BEESS) in collaboration with the Florida Department of Heath, Children’s Medical Services, Bureau of Early Steps began offering courses that allow participants to be eligible for the Florida Department of Health Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS) certificate, as well as, the Florida Department of Education Pre-K Disabilities endorsement.
The Virtual ESE Distance Learning Program is administered by the State Personnel Development Grant, a discretionary project funded by the Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services under the Individuals with Disabilities Act, Part D.
